If your e-mail isn’t answered within fifteen minutes, look for Emma in her garden, and you’ll hear the delighted barks of her pooches! Unable to find her? It means it’s THE week of the year when she decides to quench her thirst for discovering other cultures in a region with a name you’re probably completely unfamiliar with!
It was in the 2000s that she chose expatriation: enriched by her European experiences, she settled in Quebec, and now enjoys her double culture. Her old friends have become accustomed to her new accent, and her new ones have adopted her as one of their own!
In 2019, Emma decided to make words dance to a different tempo: After teaching her mother tongue for two decades, she set up her own business, becoming a content creator. Her extensive literary training, combined with her talent for choreographing words means her pen is prepared for anything thrown at her!
Her sensitivity and ability to listen will be her main assets in supporting you in your editorial projects.
Roxane- Content creation
Roxane is the team’s pragmatic dreamer: Her head in the stars and her feet on the ground! She may have fallen in love with words as a young child, but it was her overflowing creativity that led her down the editorial path. She doesn’t leave much to chance (just between us, she can’t even bring herself to season a dish without referring to its recipe…!) except for her running itineraries, which often take her off the beaten track…
Today, she joyfully vacillates between the editorial projects of Guidez de A à Z and her nature hikes with her dog Luna. Her favorite refuge, when she’s not immersed in her reading: a small lakeside village in Central Quebec… but shhh, we won’t say anything more!
David- French to English translation
Don’t look for any Frenglish in his remarks: As a true self-respecting bilingual, he savors each language as it presents itself, in its evolutions, its distortions, its imperfections, and he loves order! Each word in its place, each phrase with its rhythm, each sound in its own measure… No need to talk to him for long to understand that David is as passionate about languages as he is about music! Lidia- French to English translation
For Lidia, balance is in movement! The team’s adventurer was bitten by the travel bug when she was still a very young adult. After blowing out her 18th birthday candle, the young Francophone headed for California to perfect her English. Today, the reassuring regularity of numbers fulfills her, as she works primarily in management. But Lidia wasn’t done with languages yet, and since obtaining her certificate in translation, she has continued to travel and feed her passion for beautiful words, providing translations for Guidez de A à Z partners and customers. A word of advice when you’re working with her: Don’t spend your evening after work challenging her to play board games, as she’s a true master!
Emilie- content creation
One path and one voice: these are the two major pillars of Émilie’s day-to-day work. Passionate about writing, she moves from project to project, exploring the aspirations, desires, and goals of her audience with the greatest diligence.
Émilie responds to a broad range of requests, and offers her clients, through a unique meditative approach, a more comprehensive vision of their message, a version that takes into account all the dimensions of their communication intentions, without neglecting the desire to impact their targets.
